The Edge Effect May 23 2017
Figured I should mention something that is definitely assisting me in thinking and speaking only about positive things. A few years ago I learned about a book called "The Edge Effect". The author, Eric Braverman, M.D., discusses the importance of making certain our bodies have everything they need to create the proper neurotransmitters - serotonin, acetylcholine, gaba and dopamine. Deficiencies can lead to problems such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, fatigue, obesity etc.
"The Edge Effect" includes tests to determine which neurotransmitter is dominant in your brain. That only can determine much about our personalities.
There are also tests to determine whether or not we have any serious neurotransmitter deficiencies. Then he makes suggestions regarding what we can eat or supplements we can take to assist our bodies in making the proper neurotransmitters.
I'd love to tell you that broccoli is not on any of the lists but I'd be lying to you!
