There's a lot of pollen in the air this year! Many people are unaware that Vitamin C is a natural anti-histamine. Try 1,000 mg (a powder mixed with water would be easier absorbed by the body) a few times a day.
And get yourself a neti pot. It looks like a little tea pot. Fill it with a lukewarm saline solution (try sea salt rather than table salt), lean over the sink, turn your head to the side and pour the saline solution into your nostril. The water will go into your sinuses, rinse them out, and come out the other nostril. Blow your nose gently and then try the other side. Keep your mouth open otherwise you will feel like you're drowning. Not the most pleasant sensation but it really works!
There are also homeopathic remedies that really help. I can recommend a good homeopath if you need one.
I used to use Claritin, a nasal spray and eye drops but haven't needed to in years! Hope this will help you breathe easier!
